Join-IT was recently involved in a huge project of rolling out 26 Samsung multifunction printers.
The project was very much a success despite the grand scale of the operation.
St Joseph's College is now equipped with the latest range of Samsung printers, including the fully-fledged 60 page per minute (ppm) SL-X7600LX for outstanding image quality and extremely fast print speeds, its lighter footprint version, the 30 ppm SL-X4300LX, and finally the compact 33 ppm mono desktop printer, the SL-M3370FD.
The SL-X7600LX, pictured above. Its 10.1" display pivots 90 degrees so you can preview and adjust documents easily before printing them. This is a bonus to its extremely fast 60 ppm print and 80 / 160 images per minute (simplex / duplex) for scanning (thanks to its dual-scan feeder).
The SL-X4300LX is a lighter footprint version of the X7600LX. Packed full of features, as well as boasting excellent image quality as well as quick print and scan speeds.
The SL-M3770FD is a compact monotone multifunction printer which also features duplex printing and copying.
Coupled with the rollout of the new Samsung printers was PaperCut MF which tracks and controls prints. Combined with swipe cards to release jobs, and real-time reporting on printer usage - PaperCut is a very effective solution for both schools and businesses as it will help keep your printing costs down to a minimum.
Overall the project was a huge success and St Joseph's College are now equipped with the latest equipment and software to cater for all their printing requirements. All of this is alongside a reliable managed print service from Join-IT to provide consumables and on-site service whenever they need.
