HP & Samsung Takeback and Recycling Programme

Recycle used toner cartridges and imaging units for your HP & Samsung printers for FREE via HP's Takeback and Recycling Programme.*

1) Package the used toner or imaging units.

This is best done using the original box and packaging that the toner came with (the cartridges and imaging units can fit easily into their original bags, and the boxes are resealable - simply follow the instructions on the box).

However if you don't have the original packaging, wrap up the cartridges well using bubble wrap or foam if available. We also recommend placing them in a black refuse bag or similar to make sure toner powder doesn't leak out. You will need to find a suitable cardboard box to place them.

2) Close the box using strong, clear tape.

3) Click here to register to the HP Toner recycling programme. If you have already registered, login with your username and password.

You will need to enter in a name and full address here, and setup a username and password. The reason for this is so you can track what toners and imaging units you have sent for recycling. Once you have setup an account, login and navigate to the Get Your Label page. (This is where you will print a label to affix to the box to freepost to Samsung.)

On this page, then choose what toners you are wanting to return. First, choose the Printer model and then the Cartridge model (this is described on the toner cartridge box). If your toner cartridge model isn't included, or you are trying to recycle an imaging unit, use this universal label which can be used on all toner cartridges / imaging units.

4) Print the return label and affix to the side of the box to return.

5) Drop off the box at the post office or usual mail collection. It is freepost so you will not be charged!
